Idioms o Idiomatic expressions
Los idioms son modismos que se emplean para hablar sobre alguna situación en específico pero que su significado no es literal. Los hablantes nativos del inglés aman usarlos durante una conversación, y se pueden encontrar en libros y en series de televisión. Estar enfermo o físicamente mal.

Depender algo de tu decisión.

Spill the beans
Lo que nosotros coloquialmente empleamos para decir "Soltar la sopa".
I told my brother not to tell my mom I failed in my exams but he spilled the beans. Now my mom is mad at me.
Pull someone's leg
A esta frase es a lo que llamamos tomar el pelo, engañar o burlarnos de alguien.
Mariana told me we didn't have to take an exam today but it was a lie. She pulled my leg.

Llover a cantaros. Caer un diluvio.
Charles got home really wet because it was raining cats and dogs.

Aunque la mona se vista de seda, mona se queda. Por más que se intente cambiar el físico o la actitud de alguien, no se puede.

Rara vez, o una vez. Cuando una acción es poco frecuente que ocurra.

De tal palo, tal astilla. Cuando dos miembros de la familia tienen el mismo caracter.
